Your documents stay in your browser
CrazyPDFs reads the files you choose and creates the result on your device.
From file selection to download
Choose or drop a file to open it in your browser. The tool reads the file in browser memory and creates a local download. The tools do not upload the file or save a copy to CrazyPDFs servers. Closing the workspace clears the current selection and releases its download links.
What still goes over the network
The browser fetches the site, processing libraries and, for English OCR, the language model. It can also send a count of the tool that completed. Those requests carry no file contents, filenames or extracted text.
Where copies can exist
When you save a result, your browser and operating system manage the download. A shared device, a synced downloads folder, browser extensions or a file you email can expose copies outside the tool.
Review the result before you share it
Cropping hides an area of a page. Use a dedicated redaction workflow to remove confidential information. Check converted files for missing text or layout changes and review any original digital signatures after editing.
